Stefano (e Andrea) is the writer who kindly dedicated these articles after visiting Siem Reap and Tumleap village in November 2011. The first article is titled as "The light of Angkor," while second one as "Angkor challenge."

With the increasing number of foreign class hours, we have been short of classrooms in the past few months. To tackle this issue, villagers pulled themselves together to build a temporary shelter (classroom) made of bamboo. Now the construction has been completed, 1st graders are studying English and Japanese with the assistance of VPF interns.

On November 23, we provided 50 households with 30kg of rice seedling each with the full support from VPF. At the same time, we welcomed the representatives of UNICEF, who handed out approximately 300 bars of soap to the villagers for sanitary promotion.
On November 28, we provided additional 67 households with 30kg of rice seedling respectively. These were all donated by Italian benefactors (See the list in “Special Thanks”). This, along with initial distribution to 50 families, makes 117 households in total, successfully covering all the families whose rice fields were devastated by the blood in October.
